The ELLIS PhD Program, part of the ELLIS initiative, has announced the acceptance of over 70 outstanding early-career researchers for the 2022/2023 cohort.
ELLIS Munich is pleased to welcome these new PhD students to its vibrant research community. The program offers the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge AI research in collaboration with Europe's leading scientists and labs. Promoting scientific excellence and attracting top talent are key objectives of the program, which is open to candidates worldwide. The program has seen a rise in interest, with around 1,900 applicants from 81 countries. Approximately one-third of the new students are female, emphasising efforts for gender diversity. The ELLIS PhD Program is supported by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
