Applications are now open for the 2026 ELLIS Summer School at Unit Munich

Join us in Munich for four days of scientific exchange, inspiring talks, and international networking at the intersection of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing.

 

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 ELLIS Summer School on Machine Learning & Computer Vision, hosted by ELLIS Unit Munich.

The ELLIS Summer School is a four-day scientific continuing education event for early-career researchers at postgraduate level. The programme will cover current research in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing, bringing together participants from an international academic community.

The school will feature keynote lectures, invited scientific talks, a closing panel discussion, and two poster sessions where participants will have the opportunity to present their ongoing research. The programme will also include a masterclass on science communication and a Tech Transfer / Startup Panel exploring the transition from academic research to real-world application.

Places are limited to 100 participants.
